“As winter wanes and spring nears, these snow geese begin their journey home to Canada. In the fall they migrate south. They return home in spring through the central flyway, which includes the Atchison, Kan., area. Atchison farmers report the thousands of birds that migrate through the area create some problems as they eat what is left of soybeans and winter wheat in the fields.”
