Frustrated by a long or inconvenient commute? Summer’s here, which means you should spend less time in the car and more time with the people and activities you love.

Commuters to Kansas City, Topeka and Lawrence continue to flock to The Reserve, an idyllic Lenexa community that’s near the Kansas 7 and Kansas 10 corridor. That convenient highway proximity gives residents access to destinations throughout the Kansas City area without compromising the community’s scenic, peaceful surroundings.

“The Reserve is in a quiet setting but it’s close to everything because of nearby highway access,” said Rob Lacio, community manager. “Residents love the convenience of The Reserve’s location.”

As summer temperatures heat up, so do opportunities to move to The Reserve. The community’s current phase is nearing completion, giving prospective buyers a chance to choose from several homes. Two of those homes are move-in ready: a two-story Calistoga with five bedrooms, 3½ bathrooms and a second-floor loft priced at $393,115; and a reverse 1½-story Cardinale with four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a lower level wet bar priced at $393,535.

Both of these homes qualify for a new Inspired Homes summer promotion, which gives buyers a $5,000 Nebraska Furniture Mart gift card for contracts closed by August 30, 2018. Use the gift card to buy furniture or décor for your new home. And if you need inspiration about what to purchase, wait until after your home decorating appointment with Sherry Worth, director of design for Inspired Homes. She works with every Inspired Homes’ buyer to help them personalize their new home. For homeowners like John and Maria Bolyard, working with Sherry was a highlight of the building experience.

“Sherry is very organized and personable,” Maria said. “I felt like she guided us but also had us pick choices on our own. We walked out with 30 minutes to spare! I’ve heard of people crying and fighting in those appointments with other builders, but when we got in the car, I told John it wasn’t stressful at all.”

Prospective buyers can also select from several homes that will be completed in the next 30 to 90 days. They include a variety of floor plans and range in size from three bedrooms, three bathrooms to four bedrooms, three bathrooms. Prices start in the mid-$300,000s.

For buyers like the Bolyards who prefer to work with Inspired Homes on building a personalized home, The Reserve’s new phase, Vista at The Reserve, is the perfect opportunity. An additional 20 homesites were just released, all of which offer desirable locations in the heart of The Reserve, including several cul-de-sac and daylight locations. Plus, the larger homesites can accommodate a coveted feature.

“There’s certainly a high demand for three-car garages, and the new homesites in Vista at The Reserve allow us to meet that demand,” said Todd Lipschutz, president, Inspired Homes.

Not only can prospective buyers choose from new homesites, but new floor plans also await. The Sonoma gives buyers a long-awaited chance to build a true ranch in the community. The floor plan includes three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a basement and starts at $329,990.

The second new plan, the Rutherford, is a two-story home that offers three or four bedrooms and is priced from $326,990. Both plans are an ideal fit for Vista at The Reserve’s larger homesites and idyllic surroundings, including a coveted location within the community that gives residents easy access to The Reserve’s appealing amenities, including the popular community clubhouse and swimming pool.

The community’s amenities package also includes a children’s swimming pool, tennis and basketball courts, a playground and walking trails. Additionally, new residents will love what The Reserve homeowners have already discovered: an idyllic quality of life thanks to the community’s prime Lenexa location. In addition to being near highways, homeowners are also close to favorite recreational spots like Shawnee Mission Park, Lake Lenexa and a sizable network of paved walking and biking trails.

The Lenexa location is especially ideal for families who opt to live in The Reserve — they’ll have a rare opportunity to choose their student’s high school. The community is served by the Olathe School District, and students have traditionally gone to Olathe Northwest High School. Now that the new Olathe West High School is open, high school students in The Reserve can select which high school they attend.

No matter which new home a buyer chooses in The Reserve or Vista at The Reserve, they’ll have the peace of mind that comes with every Inspired Homes floor plan thanks to a comprehensive warranty, exterior features like James Hardie® siding, appealing standard features that now include quartz kitchen and bathroom countertops, and an unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction.

“We build homes differently,” Lipschutz said. “Our buyers get the benefit of double-walled construction with James Hardie® siding, which is a significant advantage not only for long-term maintenance, but also peace of mind and the buyer’s confidence in their long-term investment.”
